Juliet Mace is a screenwriter and visual media professor from South Alabama. She uses her comedy screenwriting MFA and love of horror to embrace the weird, campy nature of cult classics in her scripts. Recently, Juliet has completed a research project on absolution’s role in the rise of post-9/11 torture porn films and plans on pursuing a PhD in film studies with a focus on “bad” cinema. Other than screenwriting and conducting research, Juliet enjoys Danny Devito home decor, the 90's Disney classic Heavyweights, and eating soup directly from the can.
